Hi, my name is Ruth, and I am the creator of Wyld Cards.

What began as a simple hobby has grown into Wyld Cards, a place where your favourite quirky animals come to life in their own unique style. Each card spreads nothing but good vibes, ready to brighten someone’s day. With a blank inside, every card gives you the space to share your own personal, heartfelt message. Because everyone is special, and there’s no better way to show it than with a greeting card made just for them. Every design is available to all, ensuring nobody misses out on receiving their very own wild and wonderful animal card.

I have always loved the sending and receiving of a greeting card for all occasions, framing a greeting card or using them in a creative and fun way that will forever relive the nice thought and occasion, providing a huge smile on my face in several different ways. I have always been drawn to animal designs, whether they have been interpreted on a piece of art, jewellery, clothing, in a story book or as part of a piece of furniture, never failing to bring a smile to my face.

One of my greatest inspirations for designing Wyld Cards comes from social media—an endless source of animal content that brings joy to us all. Over the years, it has given me a fun and uplifting outlet, a kind of subconscious ritual that always boosts my mood and eases stress. In fact, research has shown that watching cute animals can lower stress, blood pressure, and anxiety, while also having powerful psychological and physiological benefits.

Animals have always brought me joy and a huge smile to my face, and I thought I would combine the joy I have onto a greeting card to bring a big smile to everyone’s face and share these proven good vibes around the world! 

All my funky animal designs have been created using various digital software, my creative flare, questionable fashion choices and a good imagination! All the greeting cards are printed in the U.K. on luxury, textured FSC approved material. This means that the paper has been sourced in an environmentally friendly, responsible way.

The main mission of Wyld Cards is to bring joy to people in their homes in an environmentally positive way. 

I would love for Wyld Cards to grow into a fun, feel good community, one that spreads smiles and good vibes! Through social media, I hope to encourage people to share photos and stories of their pets, or anything animal related that brings joy. The more heart-warming, funny, or downright silly, the better!

I have lots of exciting plans for my Wyld Card designs. I’ve already started putting my designs on tote bags and have received so many lovely comments! They also look fantastic as wall art for children’s bedrooms. l would also like to adapt them into colouring books for children, for the whole family to enjoy together. Lots of fun ideas!

Wyld Cards would like to get to a point where it can financially give back to various worldwide animal welfare charities!   So, every time you spend your hard-earned cash in providing someone special with a huge smile you will also know you are giving back to all the funky animals you have seen. I really hope this dream isn’t to far away!
